PICU - Paediatric Intensive Care Unit for UMC Utrecht
For the fourth year now, a HEAVYSTAR intensive care unit (MICU) for adult intensive care patients is successfully in use in Utrecht. Now a PICU in the form of an ITS-Terra 100 intensive care stretcher has also been handed over to the university hospital. This is already the tenth Starmed intensive care stretcher in reliable use in the Netherlands.

Medical equipment is provided by various donors
Spontaneous donation of a mobile intensive care transport system worth €80,000 immediately after the start of the war in Ukraine. In just four days, the Starmed ITS stretcher was converted and fitted with the customised holders for the donated equipment, such as defibrillator, syringe pumps and medical supplies. With the help of the Friedrichshafen support association, the intensive care stretcher could be transported to Ukraine with additional equipment such as a solar panel, headlamp, infusions, cannulas and dressing material. This intensive care stretcher with sophisticated special equipment can now be used as an intensive care transport stretcher and also as a mobile operating table in Ukraine.

Charité Berlin gets new ARDS stretcher
For over 17 years, the IT teams of the Charité have rightly relied on high-quality and reliable Starmed intensive care transport systems.
Now Starmed has received another special order for a new flying ARDS stretcher. It is to replace the ITS that has been in use since 2003, enable new interfaces and again contain a comprehensive medical equipment package.
Bolzano White Cross procures first Starmed intensive care stretcher
The new Starmed intensive care stretcher may come too late for Ötzi, but it will offer many other people new chances of survival at the highest level of intensive care. The IT teams at Croce Bianca in South Tyrol are particularly looking forward to this.

The Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support has procured two Heavystar intensive care transporters for the Bundeswehr Hospital in Ulm.
One of them has already received its first MedEvac christening, taking over a patient on the A 400 M ramp and transporting him with the BW-ITW. The second Heavystar is used with the additional equipment "ER" in the shock room of the central emergency room.
The Clinic for Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Pain Therapy at BWK Ulm is pleased with the new care and transport options.
NEW equipment carrier system ECMO Carrier
The basic holder of the ECMO Carrier System is used for secure fixation, quick removal and easy fitting of a Cardiohelp System. For this purpose, the GTS consists of a firmly mounted base plate with pins and ball lock bolts, as well as a quickly adaptable universal plate.
The medical device is securely fixed in the holder by means of a precisely fitting lock and enables the medical device to be fitted and removed quickly and easily. A carrying adapter, which can be mounted as an accessory if necessary, enables secure attachment to DIN-type stretchers.
New mount for military use
The development has been completed, the industrial property rights have been granted and the final tests are currently being prepared. Soon you will be able to order the new Starmed equipment mounts with "Blast Protection" from us. Initially, there will be four different models to choose from. We look forward to your enquiry.
Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep in Alkmaar

Nachdem der ASB St. Georgen Vorreiter in Sachen Heavystar Intensivtransporter war, hat sich nun auch Graz für Intensivtransporte ohne Kompromisse und damit für einen Heavystar entschieden. Das Fahrzeug dazu liefert auch hier Dlouhy.
City of Offenbach Professional Fire Brigade
Due to the Corona pandemic, the need for intensive care transports increased enormously, so that Offenbach also reacted by acquiring a new ITW.
This was equipped with our ITS-Terra 100 intensive care stretcher. In addition to a Hamilton T1 , a Corpuls C3 and six syringe pumps, a Cardiohelp ECMO was also safely integrated.
University Children's Hospital in Brussels receives paediatric intensive care stretcher
Together with our partner Acertys, we were able to deliver a state-of-the-art paediatric intensive care stretcher ITS-Terra 100 to Belgium for the first time. Under the abbreviated name PICU (Pedriatic Intensive Care Unit), it will soon be successfully used for the first time.
This makes Belgium the 10th country to use a Starmed intensive care transport system.
Starmed develops a device holder for 3D printing for the first time.
The entire holder consists of a monobloc housing and 4 other small parts.
It was to be a precise fit, light, stable, secure, attractive and easy to assemble and clean.
The result exceeded our expectations.
LUMC Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum
The University Hospital in Leiden also procures an intensive care transport system type ITS Terra 100 for children from Starmed. This brings the total number of Starmed transport systems on the roads in the Netherlands to 10.
DRK KV Fulda procures Heavystar

Hong Kong Children's Hospital orders Starmed-ITS Terra 100 paediatric intensive care stretcher
Starmed is also known for quality and competence in Hong Kong. The experience with the new Starmed product is so good that the Children's Hospital is already planning the procurement of two more Starmed paediatric intensive care stretchers.
Fire brigade of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck procures Heavystar
Lübeck immediately followed Kiel's order and ordered a slightly different Heavystar version.

Heavyflex transporter for AISAB
In Sweden, intensive care transports are usually carried out with large ITWs or IT buses, as very long distances often have to be covered. In the Stockholm region, a Heavyflex transporter is now being used in the new bus instead of the previous in-house construction.
Instead of a bed, this transporter has a stretcher pick-up plate for various stretchers commonly used in Sweden.
UMC St. Radboud Nijmegen now using Heavystar
An ITS-Terra 100 has been in successful use at the university hospital in Nijmegen since 2005.

ASB Kiel with new ITW and ITS-Terra 100 in use
Those responsible for the ITW at ASB Kiel were very satisfied with the combination product of the high-quality Starmed ITS-Terra 100 intensive care stretcher and the Stryker Power Pro chassis.
The connection is achieved via a detachable adapter. All the advantages of the ITS-Terra 100 are retained and the patients find sufficient space on the 650 mm wide bed.
