Starmed GmbH medical rescue systems was founded in 1998 as a medical technology company and was based in Ulm until 2013. In 2013, the company headquarters were moved to Stetten/Meersburg on Lake Constance, to its own modern commercial premises.

With currently eight employees, Starmed GmbH is one of the small, highly specialised companies in Baden-Württemberg. It develops, produces and sells exclusively its own products for the civilian and military sectors and regularly supplies the USA in addition to the German and European markets.

Since its foundation, the Starmed team has been working intensively and sustainably on innovative solutions in the field of patient and equipment transport. The company is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of compact, mobile intensive care transport systems and equipment holders.

In addition to its own innovative products, Starmed is also a development service provider and producer for medical equipment manufacturers, dealers, air rescue service providers, ambulance vehicle manufacturers, hospitals and the military.
