We are pleased that you are visiting our new website.

Starmed GmbH was founded in Ulm in 1998 and has been based in Stetten near Meersburg on the beautiful Lake Constance in its own modern premises since August 2012.

Since the company was founded, we have specialised in the development and manufacture of complex solutions for patient and equipment transport, both civilian and military.

With the Stern stretcher, which later became known in specialist circles under the name "ITS-Terra 100", we were the first supplier of a serial, professional intensive care transport system in the German-speaking world.

With this first product, we were able to contribute significantly to the development from the so-called "doctor-accompanied transfer transport" to today's modern intensive care transport.

From the very beginning, we have dealt with the difficulties of demanding patient transports, looked for new solutions and have always adapted our products to changing customer needs and market requirements. To this day, our products are continuously developed and optimised. This is also the reason for the high reliability of our products.

With our new "Heavystar" heavy-duty intensive transport system, we have once again raised the bar and combined heavy-duty transport and intensive transport in a completely new type of transport system. The product is pure innovation, a real "all-rounder" and offers completely new solutions for many problems.
